Cool Off with a Watermelon Mint Smoothie!

 

It's summertime, which means smoothie season is here! In Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, we eat our cool and cold foods during the warm and hot times of the year. This smoothie combines two cooling foods - watermelon and mint - to create the perfect summertime tonic. Enjoy as a light breakfast, lunch or afternoon snack.

Watermelon Mint Smoothie

Two cups watermelon
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves

1/4 cup water

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
