What exactly is 'yin' yoga? Have you ever found yourself wondering if you would enjoy yin yoga? Perhaps you have practiced yin yoga for years and simply want to learn more about the history, the anatomy or the physical postures. In this workshop we will discuss the history of yin yoga, the benefits of yin, physical postures, anatomy, breathing techniques, and your 'edge.' We will also explore the meridians of the body (the energy pathways) and the 5 elements of nature and how they are incorporated into yin yoga.
After attending a 3-day yin intensive training towards her 500 RYT in Asheville, NC, Mandy is excited to share with you what she has learned so you can apply it to your personal practice.
