Body Tune-Up with Yoga & Therapy Tools: Lower Body Edition

Leah Staley, LMT and certified yoga instructor, brings you an exploratory, anatomical adventure with Body Tune-Up: Lower Body Edition! In this class, students will target, discover and treat tension and stiffness in the hips, gluteals, legs and feet by utilizing simple yoga movement and myofascial release exercises using therapy tools such as lacrosse balls and foam rollers. 

Areas of imbalance, tension and repetitive stress in the muscles and connective tissue will feel open, energized and elongated as students weave between self-massage and targeted yoga postures. The class goal is to develop students' skill of pinpointing muscles and feeling the release of tension as they become more aware of their body mechanics for an improved and more aligned physical structure.
