Laura’s yoga journey began in her early twenties in Ohiopyle, her hometown. While working as a river guide, she developed a dedicated and on-going practice with Wade Zinter, who teaches Ashtanga, vinyasa and primarily power yoga at the Ohiopyle Community Center.
In 2014, she received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Greensburg’s Moonglow Yoga. Expanding her love of yoga to follow the path of Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, she became an Ayurveda Yoga Specialist through the Himalayan Institute in 2016.
In addition to yoga’s physical rewards, Laura finds great benefit in pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation.
Off the mat, Laura is a mother, gardener and lover of year-round outdoor activity – skiing, hiking, whitewater boat riding and biking.
